Some Quick Guides to Getting the Most from the TrainHeroic App

Some Quick Guides to Getting the Most from the TrainHeroic App.

With TrainHeroic, you’ll have access to your training anytime and anywhere and while you can message me any questions you like using TH Chat, I may not be able to reply straight away.

So, use these handy guides so you know what to do…

Logging Sessions

How to log a training session

Right, now you’re up and running. This is how you record all your hard work.

How to change an exercise

I try my best to program exercises with the most common pieces of equipment, but there may be times when your circumstances change and you can’t do what we had planned.

If you need to swap out an exercise, this is how you do it.

How to add sets to a session

Sometimes I may program total rep sets or give you some flexibility within your sessions (for example 3-5 sets of 5-8 repetitions). If this is the case, you’ll need to add some extra sets to what’s there:

How to add an exercise

There may be times when the mood takes you and you want to do your own thing and add some exercises to the end of a session. This is how you do that.

How to see your exercise history

Looking at what you’ve done before can be very satisfying and at the same time it can be very useful when it comes to helping you work out how much weight to lift this time…

How to check you filled everything in properly

There’s nothing worse than doing all that hard work and for some reason, you forget to fill something out properly. At the end of each session give everything a quick check like this…

Settings and Programs

How to start your training program once you’ve subscribed.

Your programming will be available to you as soon as you purchase your program or subscribe to one of my coaching services. This is how to get access to the sessions.

How to change the measurement units.

Out of the box, TrainHeroic is set to imperial measurement units (I know, I know, it’s American), but I program all my sessions in kilograms. This can cause a few glitches, so make sure to change the units to metric as soon as you can.

How to change your working maxes.

As you log sessions TrainHeroic will calculate the predicted weight it thinks you can lift for a single repetition (p1RM), however, if you know what you can do and would like to update your own RM’s manually, this is how.

How to change your avatar.

Everyone likes to look their best, so replace the standard avatar with one of your own.

Communication and Calendar

How to log or move sessions to a different date

If your schedule changes, you can complete sessions on different days. Here’s how to move them:

How to add an exercise comment

Commenting on exercises helps me understand how it felt for you; you can review your comments in your exercise history too, so it can also double up as an exercise diary.

How to log intensity, duration and comments

If I’m coaching you remotely I have no idea how hard you find things or whether there’s anything you need to concentrate on. Adding comments and a training intensity score helps me understand what you’re going through and improves my programming for you. Here’s how:
