This program is written specifically for you, taking into consideration your personal goals, past experience, injury history and whatever equipment you have available.

If you already use a cycling coach, we’ll dovetail everything appropriately throughout the season (I’m happy to liaise directly with your coach to form a support team for you), otherwise, I’ll prepare a riding plan just for you.

Here's how the plan breaks down:

  • On-bike sessions per week: 2-4
  • Off-bike sessions per week: 1-6 (including strength, mobility, high-performance recovery training and regeneration sessions).
  • Typical time of year: It’s a year-round program, so the frequency of sessions will fluctuate, so you receive the most appropriate training for the time of year.
  • Level of rider: Any.
  • Level of gym: Any (I’ll design a program just for you).

This plan is for anyone who needs that little extra attention to detail. Not only will I write a program just for you, but you’ll also receive far more communication and direct coaching to keep you accountable, lifting safely and provide that extra motivation!
Yes. Because I write your plan based on the equipment you have, you can do it anywhere. However, I’d recommend using a commercial gym (or investing in your own equipment) because you will benefit for more by lifting external loads. I’d be happy to advise you on what you’d need.
No! The beauty of this is that you get what you need when you need it… While I advocate year-round strength training there are times when it’s less important, so at this time It’ll reduce. This is difficult to manage with face-to-face coaching but easily done remotely.
This program is specifically designed to build gradually with built-in periods of recovery. Use the training readiness scores to monitor your fatigue and reach out to me via TH chat if you’re unsure…Remember, many of the Olympians I’ve trained were gym novices when I started working with them!
